Foothills Dental on Pine Street is seeking an awesome Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist with various procedures and ensure excellent patient care.

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health records (EHR)
- Perform infection control procedures to meet OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Utilize medical terminology accurately
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy
- Monitor vital signs and assist with patient assessment

Experience:
- Previous experience in dental assisting preferred
- Proficiency in taking dental X-rays
- Knowledge of CEREC technology is a plus
- Familiarity with infection control protocols
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to perform patient assessment and provide chairside assistance
